Negros Based Dance Group Won Grand Prize IYF's World Cultural Dance Festival 2015

Kahayag Dance Company, Dumaguete-based group has just recently won the grand prize of International Youth Fellowship World Cultural Dance Festival 2015 in Jeonju, South Korea.



Kahayag is a Visayan word that means "light" or "brightness". The group is composed of (27) talented and dynamic members that also includes their director.

Not only they've won the $5,000 grand prize, but with their performance they've brought great pride to us Negrenses and Filipinos and the same way promotes how truly beautiful our country is.
